![]() ![]() 48Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.” 49The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my little boy dies.” 50Jesus said to him, “Go your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and started on his way. 47When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went and begged him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Now there was a royal official whose son lay ill in Capernaum. 45When he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, since they had seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the festival for they too had gone to the festival.Ĥ6Then he came again to Cana in Galilee where he had changed the water into wine. 22Claiming to be wise, they became fools 23and they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling a mortal human being or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles.Ģ4Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves, 25because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever! Amen.Ĥ3When the two days were over, he went from that place to Galilee 44(for Jesus himself had testified that a prophet has no honor in the prophet’s own country). So they are without excuse 21for though they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their senseless minds were darkened. 20Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he has made. 19For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.”ġ8For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of those who by their wickedness suppress the truth. Those who handle the law did not know me Īnd went after things that do not profit.ġ0 Cross to the coasts of Cyprus and look,ġ3 for my people have committed two evils:ģ0 In vain I have struck down your children ģ1 And you, O generation, behold the word of the LORD!ġ6For I am not ashamed of the gospel it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Who brought us up from the land of Egypt,īut when you entered you defiled my land,Ĩ The priests did not say, “Where is the LORD?” ![]() ![]() 5Thus says the LORD:Īnd went after worthless things, and became worthless themselves? None of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.ġThe word of the LORD came to me, saying: 2Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says the LORD:ĤHear the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel. To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.ġ7 When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears,Īnd rescues them from all their troubles.ġ8 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted,ġ9 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,Īnd those who hate the righteous will be condemned.Ģ2 The LORD redeems the life of his servants His praise shall continually be in my mouth.Ħ This poor soul cried, and was heard by the LORD,Īround those who fear him, and delivers them.ġ0 The young lions suffer want and hunger,īut those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.ġ5 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,ġ6 The face of the LORD is against evildoers, ![]()
